You voted and we all partied. Last night nearly 250 of Atlanta’s gay community gathered at By Design Showroom on Cheshire Bridge Rd. for the first annual Fenuxe Best of Atlanta Awards Reception presented by Myers Carpet.
The party, planned by Kardon Events, kicked off a little before 7PM and ran well past the scheduled end of 9PM. Revelers mixed and mingled while sipping sassy cocktails served up compliments of Rokk Vodka. The Swedish vodka maker also sent over some hunky and hardly-dressed Vikings to keep the libations flowing and hand out a little swag.
Fenuxe’s publisher Tyler Calkins took a moment to thank all the party-goers and celebrate the nominees and winners. Calkins also doled out beautifully framed awards to the winners as event photographer Cindy Brown snapped a few pics for posterity. Guests nibbled on tasty treats provided by two time Best of Atlanta winner Radial Café (best brunch and best gay-owned restaurant).
Nalley BMW was on hand to accept their award for Best Automobile Dealership as well sell raffle tickets for the chance to win a new BMW. The raffle raised $1,000 at the event which will be donated to the Ronald MacDonald house.
Overall the night was a huge success! Thanks to everyone for attending and congrats to all the Fenuxe Magazine Best of Atlanta nominees and winners!
